Overtallies occur on a case-by-case basis during the beginning of the semester. If you’re not a cs/cse/hcid major, or are not an engineering major at ceta, then an overtally is unlikely.
If, however, you do fall into either of the previously mentioned categories, reach out to me via email no later than 1 business day before classes start with the following information:
- Number of credits you’ve earned thus far
- Class standing (First year, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior)
- Major
- School in which you’re enrolled
- Student ID
Regardless of whether an overtally is granted, attend the first two weeks of classes as though you’ve been registered, and speak to me on the first day of class. If you miss any class in the first two weeks of classes, then an overtally will be impossible. I also suggest you keep shopping for classes, in the event that your request for an overtally is not granted.
